Our client, a prominent player in the iron and steel industry, faced challenges in ensuring the quality of their iron ore pellets. Accurate measurement of Crushing Strength was critical for maintaining product reliability, but their manual testing processes were inefficient, error-prone, and time-consuming. Variations in pellet composition, including differences in ore type, additives, and heat treatments, further complicated the quality assurance process. The client required an automated, standardized solution to streamline testing and meet industry standards effectively.
To address the client’s challenges, we provided an Electromechanical Universal Testing Machine with a 25kN capacity, designed for precise and reliable measurement of the Crushing Strength of iron ore pellets. This solution was coupled with an Auto Sample Feeding System, ensuring the process was fully automated and eliminating the need for manual intervention.
The testing machine was configured to operate in compliance with ISO 4700 and ASTM E 382 standards, ensuring accurate and repeatable results. The automated system significantly reduced testing time and minimized human error, allowing for consistent and efficient quality control.
By integrating this solution, the client was able to streamline their testing process, enhance product quality, and meet industry benchmarks more effectively. The automated system also increased throughput, supporting higher volumes of testing without compromising accuracy.
